I still love to hike in Colorado just to get outdoors, clear my head, breathe fresh air, and to appreciate the beauty of the world around me!

Research Paper 2
For my second research paper, I looked at the work of Dawoud Bey and Rineke Dijkstra. I compared their styles and portraiture techniques. I am thinking a lot about concept, how portraits are constructed, and how people are represented in photographic portraiture. It was very interesting to study and compare the work of these two artists.
Missing my Dad
On September 20, 2018 – I lost my Dad. He fought a valiant 4.5 year battle against metastasized lung cancer. I was able to fly to California to be with him 8 days before he died. I took some photos of his hands, and his hands intertwined with my Mom’s, and holding hands with me. A nurse took the final photo ever taken of he and my Mom, 6 days before his passing. My parents were married for 56 years. He was a big personality and a big part of my life. He will be sincerely missed.
